IFES is a non-profit based in Philadelphia, PA. Our purpose is to sponsor research that cannot be funded elsewhere. Many areas of scientific research have been sidelined because results contradict foundational paradigms of Western science. UFOs used to be in this category, but are becoming mainstream. Parapsychology was respected at the beginning of the 20th century, but is no longer so. Cold fusion results by prominent, well-regarded researchers has been dismissed because no physical theory can explain where the activation energy comes from. Evolutionary theory has become so ossified with neo-Darwinism that other models of natural selection are often unpublishable.
